This street, formerly known as Alice Street and then Queen's Crescent, runs from University Avenue just below the Agnes Etherington Art Centre to Albert Street.
The eastern end of Queen's Crescent was re-named Bader Lane in 2004 to honour Dr. Alfred Bader, a Queen's alumnus and one of the university's most generous benefactors.
This is the only street on Queen's campus that is owned by the University and not the City of Kingston.
The remainder of the former street - the part that runs from Albert Street to Collingwood Street, just north of Leonard Hall - retains the name Queen's Crescent.
