Biography
Kirsteen has over 18 years of benefits, workplace wellness, and disability experience, having worked with organizations ranging from large insurance carriers, international technology companies and small, independent organizations. As an executive, her approach balances employee experience and stakeholder needs with the need to achieve the organization鈥檚 financial goals, which is becoming more critical in today's complex, multi-union environments. With additional experience leading teams providing general HR services including recruitment, workplace investigations, and employee development, Kirsteen understands how organizations can leverage the human resources for competitive advantage.
Kirsteen possesses a Master of Industrial Relations from Queens University, Kingston; a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Diagnostic Radiography from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh; a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Carleton University; and holds a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation.
