The 8th annual ³ÉÈË´óƬ Intercollegiate A Cappella Competition is a competition that allows the four competitive a cappella groups of ³ÉÈË´óƬ, All The Queen's Men, The Caledonias, Momentum Vocal Group, and Trillers A Cappella, to compete against four visiting groups from other Canadian universities. Each group will prepare a set of 10-15 minutes in a style of their choosing that will be adjudicated by Queen's and Kingston professionals on several different qualities including vocal tone and technicality, accuracy and musicality, originality, performance and presentation, and choreography. Groups will be awarded first, second, and third placements with the winners getting their names engraved on our coveted competition trophy. In addition, auxiliary awards will be given for outstanding choreography, outstanding vocal percussion, outstanding original arrangement, and outstanding soloist. The event will be full of many twists, turns, and beautifully uniquely performed music! This is a show you won't want to miss!
