On Feb. 11, Queen鈥檚 is recognizing聽the by encouraging the campus community to share their passion for STEM and showcase their research by tagging Queen's on Twitter聽聽and Instagram聽.
This year marks the seventh聽anniversary of the international recognition day, which promotes full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls. According to UNESCO鈥檚聽, only 33 per cent of researchers globally are women. International Day of Women and Girls in Science is meant to celebrate and inspire present and future women in STEM disciplines.
