An interest in mechanics led Queen's researcher Arthur聽McDonald, the 2015 co-winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, to study the universe on a fundamental level, through physics.
Together with the SNOLAB group, Queen鈥檚 astrophysicists like St茅phane Courteau, and their students, form one of the most active centres for research on dark matter in the world.
Queen's researcher Lynda Colgan, associate professor of education聽and Director of the聽Community Outreach Centre, is improving math literacy聽for everyone by bringing the invisible worlds of math and science to the forefront of consciousness.聽
