Queen's researcher Richard Birtwhistle is聽the chair and principal investigator of the Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network (CPCSSN) which聽collects patient information stored in electronic medical records (EMR) of primary care practitioners across Canada to help researchers advance treatments of chronic diseases.
