Localized conflicts, conflict mediation, African politics, and youth livelihoods.

Brief Biography

Emmanuel Ampomah is a doctoral student in the Department of Political Studies at Queen鈥檚 University. Prior to joining Queen鈥檚 he was a researcher at the Human Sciences Research Council鈥檚 Equitable Education and Economies research division in South Africa. He holds a master鈥檚 degree in International Relations from the University of Cape Town and a BA (honors) degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Ghana. Emmanuel has presented his research at international conferences in Tanzania, USA, Germany, Belgium and Kenya. He is passionate about peacebuilding, youth, and development in Africa.
