Victoria is currently studying the life and world of Harriet Dobbs Cartwright, an Irish woman who immigrated to Upper Canada in the 1830s upon her marriage to Rev. Robert David Cartwright. Cartwright was a wife, mother, volunteer, advocate, and prolific letter writer. Her supervisors are Dr. Jane Errington and Dr. Cecilia Morgan.
