Description: Dahlias are one of the most sought-after cut flowers in the floral industry today. They are prolific bloomers and come in every size, shape, and colour you can imagine. What many people do not know is that these coveted flowers are surprisingly easy to grow and can be successfully cultivated in a variety of conditions by following a few simple tips and tricks.

During the workshop, participants will learn:

    • How to identify different types of dahlias
    • When to plant and dig up dahlia tubers
    • How to care for dahlias during the growing season
    • Common dahlia pests and diseases
    • Tips and tricks for getting high-quality blooms

You do not need any floral or gardening experience to attend and enjoy the workshop. The workshop is for anyone who loves dahlias and would like to grow their own! Weather dependent, participants will be able to take some dahlia blooms home with them to enjoy.
