Description:
This talk will meditate on the relationship between narrative and religious law, exploring how the stories we hear and tell shape our understanding of what is good and right, and what law is and should be. Specifically, this talk will focus on questions of ritual purity, examining how ideas about women鈥檚 ritual purity are related to their ritual authority.
