Description:
In this workshop you will learn that constructive feedback is information-specific; issue-focused and observation based. You will learn concrete strategies, steps, insights and tips for delivering valid, constructive, positive and critical feedback. This session also will provide you with the necessary skills to receive constructive feedback effectively - to be open, embrace the uncomfortableness of receiving feedback; to not take it personally or argue back; to look at the big picture and solicit feedback from multiple sources.
Learning Outcomes:
- Recognize the role that effective communication and emotional intelligence play in a constructive feedback process
- Identify characteristics of constructive feedback
- Gain insight into and tips for delivering effective feedback
- Practice skills for receiving feedback effectively
