Each year, thousands of alumni return to Kingston to celebrate Homecoming, reconnect with classmates, learn about university initiatives, and meet current students. We are excited to welcome alumni back to campus during the weekend of October 18 鈥� 20, 2024 for those celebrating milestone reunions with class years ending in 4 or 9.
Homecoming is a reunion of friends and a passing-on of the Queen鈥檚 traditions to a younger generation. The first alumni weekend was held almost one hundred years ago, in 1926, and attracted 870 graduates. This annual tradition has continued to grow. The 1970s Homecoming introduced the beloved alumni parade around Richardson Stadium as a chance to showcase school spirit. Historically, Homecoming was planned around Queen鈥檚 football game against their rival, the University of Toronto Varsity Blues. This year Queen's will be facing off against the Waterloo Warriors, it's sure to be a great game!
