The Music Movement is a student-led fundraiser concert featuring over 30 incredibly talented musicians from ³ÉÈË´óƬ. Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 14, 2024, as we take the stage at the Kingston Baby Grand Theatre (218 Princess Street) for an evening filled with soulful melodies and heartfelt performances.
But this event is more than just music. We're coming together to support a cause close to our hearts: the Pamoja Tunaweza Women's Centre (PTWC) in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. PTWC is a beacon of hope, providing crucial healthcare services to thousands of individuals and advocating tirelessly for female reproductive rights. One of their current initiatives, the Kilimanjaro Cervical Cancer Screening Project, is saving lives by providing access to cervical cancer screening for thousands of women. Dr. Jennifer Carpenter, MD, and professor at ³ÉÈË´óƬ, co-founded PTWC, and we couldn't be prouder to support their vital work. Every dollar raised during our concert will go directly to PTWC, providing essential support to continue their life-changing initiatives.
Please consider making a donation that will contribute to a cause that is making a real difference in the world. Together, we can create positive change and empower women around the world.
