    Pre-Doctoral Fellowship Information Session

    When:
    Friday, December 1, 2023
    4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    Where:
    Description:

In 2018-19, Faculty of Arts and Science (FAS) introduced Pre-Doctoral Fellowships for Indigenous Students. The first of its kind in Canada, the program is designed to support the intellectual and scholarly development of senior doctoral candidates in ways that position them for success.

Building on the success of the inaugural program, in 2021-22, FAS expanded the program to include Pre-Doctoral Fellowships for Black Studies students.

Our Pre-Doctoral Fellowships are open to students enrolled in a PhD program and working on doctoral research in the creative arts, humanities, social sciences or natural and physical sciences at an accredited university other than ³ÉÈË´óƬ. Candidates must have completed all doctoral degree requirements except the final doctoral project (e.g. dissertation). They will be expected to complete their doctoral project during their tenure as a Fellow to receive their degree from their home institution.

Join us at 4pm on Friday, December 1 for an online information session to learn more about this opportunity. The session will include a brief 15-minute presentation on the program and application process followed by a 30-minute Q&A and conversation.
