    Description:

Faciliated by Klodiana Kolomitro, Centre for Teaching and Learning

Our roles in academia have been redefined, reimagined, and repurposed. As we are asked to do more with less, we need to start paying more attention to how we take care of ourselves and prevent burnout. Only by encouraging wellness, buoyancy, and optimism can we develop a resilient, strong, and healthy community of scholars. In this world café, we will explore evidence-based models that can support educators’ well-being at Queen's. Based on the presenter's research on burnout and our discussions and collective experiences, we will identify several strategies to guide us in our own practice and to support our students' mental health and well-being.
