Winter Drama Major: Love and Information

Love and Information is a fast-paced play about contemporary life and the internet. It contains over 50 scenes with over 100 different characters. The production will contain approximately 25 performers who will on average play four roles each. The play is written to allow actors of many different genders, ages and ethnicities to play any of these parts. In addition to this unique structure, we will also be adding a layer of complexity that will allow audience data to power the order of some of the scenes, while enabling the audience and designers to collaborate in ways that connect to the types of interactivity the internet empowers. There will also be some interstitial, ensemble-based material the production will generate.
