Sixth Annual Northern Research Symposium at Queen鈥檚 University
Queen鈥檚 University has a large community of researchers involved with the study of northern issues from various disciplines. This Symposium aims to bring together students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, and professors for a day of presentations, open dialogue & networking.
If you currently are, or would like to be working on northern-related research, we encourage your participation. We encourage students, both graduate and undergraduate, to submit abstracts both for posters and oral presentations. Researchers new to Queen鈥檚, or new to Northern research, are also encouraged to participate. - Dr. Daniel Fortier (Department of Geography, Universit茅 de Montr茅al): "permafrost dynamics, mitigation techniques and adaptation."
- Dr. Valerie Michaelson (Faculty of Public Health Sciences and School of Religion, Queen鈥檚 University): 鈥淎rctic research, reconciliation and the connections that make us human.鈥
