Saxophonist Peter Freeman is joined by pianist Tom Davidson in an engaging and lively performance. Marking the 100th anniversary of Claude Debussy's death, the program includes Debussy's beautiful Rhapsodie pour saxophone. In addition to several jazz-inspired classical works for saxophone by Paul Tonneau, Erwin Schulhoff and Christian Lauga, Canadian composer Denis B茅dard is represented by his neo-classical Sonate pour saxophone at piano.
