Description:
The Fall Term Queen's Orchestra concert will feature 2023 Concerto Competition winner, Violetta Kurkurina, in a performance of Edvard Grieg's Piano concerto in a minor, as well Anton Bruckner's epic Symphony No.4 (the Romantic Symphony). This Symphony is one of the most important and recognized in the late romantic repertoire. It has never been performed in it's entity by Queen's Orchestra and provides tremendous challenges as well as beautiful melodies and solos for many instrumentalists. Highlights of past concerts were Tangorium, featuring the Bridge Wolak Duo in April 2021, and Bruckner's Symphony No.1 in December 2022.
