    Description:

KFL&A Public Health will be leading a Opioid Information Session & Naloxone kit distribution on Tuesday, November 28th from 5:30-6:30pm in QC 505 (ARC).

This is an opportunity for any interested Queen’s community member (students, staff or faculty) to learn more about how to prevent, recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. The information session will run about 35-40 minutes, with light refreshments provided.

Those who attend are also able to receive a personal naloxone nasal spray kit after a short 1-1 meeting with a Public Health Nurse following the presentation. Naloxone is a medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and can help save a life.

No registration is required for this session.
