    Move with Our Docs - Kingston

    Description:

    Exercise is Medicine Canada (EIMC) at Queen’s is holding its 3rd annual “Move with Our Docs” event on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

    This year, EIMC at Queen’s has challenged health care providers (including physicians and allied health practitioners) from the Kingston community to form teams with each other and their patients and participate in a fully accessible 2 km stroll through Queen’s Campus and along Kingston’s waterfront. The purpose of this event is to advocate for the most effective prescription for healthy living available – physical activity!

    Registration is FREE and open to anyone in the community looking for an active opportunity. There will also be a post-stroll cooldown with exciting prizes to follow.
    **Note: There will be a prize for the team with the ˴Ƭ number of participants and the more people you come with, the greater chance you have of winning one of our other incredible prizes!

    Here are the important event details:

    What: Move with Our Docs (2 km stroll around Queen’s campus and the waterfront)
    Where: Meet at the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies (28 Division St.)
    When: Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10 AM – 12 PM (rain or shine)
    How: Every individual can register at https://mwod.eventbrite.ca/

    Register by May 17th to ensure you get a FREE t-shirt for this event. Teams of 6 or more will receive coloured t-shirts.
