The Institute for Sustainable Finance (ISF) is co-hosting an in person event with Smith Career Advancement on Nov. 8, 5:30-6:30 pm in-person at Goodes Hall, Room 120.

This event is a great opportunity for students to learn about a fulfilling career in the growing field of sustainable finance. Our guest is Murat Basarir, Associate Vice President, Enterprise Sustainable Finance at TD, in conversation with Laurence Ashworth. Murat leads the Enterprise Sustainable Finance team at TD, where his team develops bank-wide strategies that aim to support business opportunities in the focus areas of TD's ESG Framework.

Attendees will gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of sustainable finance and learn how the finance sector can help support a transition to a low-carbon future. The talk will also cover different career pathways within the world of climate finance, and the skills required to grow in this field.

Commerce, MBA, MIB MSc and PhD students who wish to attend can register in Quest, under events.
