All members of the Queen’s Community (faculty, staff and students) are warmly invited to the annual International Women’s Day (IWD) Celebration on March 7th, 2025, in the Biosciences Complex Atrium on campus!

This year's theme, #AccelerateAction, calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face personally and professionally. 

In this networking and information session, attendees will hear brief speeches and learn about the various Women’s focused groups across campus. Casual style food and refreshments will be provided. Attendees can once again support the Kingston Interval House for women and children in crisis through cash or e-donations. 

This celebration is cohosted by the Women in Science at Queen's (WISQ), Women in Engineering (WIE) and the Queen Women's Network .
