Ingenuity Labs Presents: Jonathan Gammell, Stories of Measuring and Planning Motion in Robotics

    When:
    Thursday, November 9, 2023
    1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
    Where:
    Mitchell Hall
    Room: 395

    Description:

    Abstract

Autonomous robots are exciting when they can perform complex tasks in complex environments. To do this, they need to have the ability to both measure the world moving around them and plan their own motions through it. This talk will present an overview of my group's work on the problems of multimotion estimation and motion planning and our experience deploying autonomous robotics in the real world.

    Biography

Jonathan Gammell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at ³ÉÈË´óƬ where he leads the Estimation, Search, and Planning (ESP) research group.
