This event for Queen’s faculty will promote Fields Institute programs and facilitate inter-disciplinary research collaborations involving mathematics, statistics and computer science. The event includes a keynote speech by Dr. Lila Kari, Professor and University Research Chair in the School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Kari’s public lecture on Machine Learning and the Mathematics of Genomes will start at 11:15 am in BioSci 1102. All are welcome to attend the public lecture.
