    Description:

On Tuesday, November 14, Dr. Priscilla Ferrazzi will deliver a presentation entitled, Extending the Reach and Leadership of Rehabilitation Science: Influencing—and Being Influenced by—the Law”.  The presentation will take place from 11:30am - 12:30pm in the LDA Building, Room 008.

Dr. Ferrazzi’s program of research explores how rehabilitation science can inform how the law thinks of and responds to people affected by disability. And conversely, she explores how the law, including notions of social justice, human rights and advocacy can inform and advance the rehabilitation science goals of full participation and citizenship. This approach to rehabilitation leadership also integrates knowledge from rehabilitation science and law to explore novel approaches to complex issues to improve health, social and legal outcomes of people affected by disability.

Dr. Ferrazzi is a candidate for a tenure track faculty position in the Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership Program at Queen's School of Rehabilitation Therapy.
