Please note- you must be in the QMPG employee group to attend this workshop. This includes Grade 8 and 9 Managers and all employees in Grades 10-14.
Details: In today's dynamic work environment, effective communication is key to reducing stress, preventing burnout, and fostering a culture of collaboration. This engaging half-day workshop provides frameworks and practical tools to navigate interpersonal communication, including challenging conversations.
Through interactive discussions and case studies tailored to workplace wellbeing, participants will explore strategies to enhance dialogue, minimize workplace conflict, and create psychologically safe environments that support resilience and engagement.
Key learning outcomes include:
- Recognizing and overcoming defensive communication patterns that contribute to stress and misalignment.
- Mastering the balance between advocacy and inquiry to foster psychological safety and meaningful conversations.
- Developing strategies to identify and challenge underlying assumptions that may hinder effective communication and teamwork.
- Enhancing confidence and mindset to initiate conversations that strengthen relationships and support wellbeing.
This workshop integrates theory and practice to equip participants with actionable skills they can apply immediately. By strengthening communication, attendees will contribute to a workplace culture prioritizing connection, clarity, and overall wellbeing.
