Blackcentricity: Bridging Ubuntu Philosophy and African Elders Knowledge for Black Solidarities
This address will employ the interface of Blackness and Africanness, grounded in the Ubuntu philosophy to articulate 鈥楤lackcentricity鈥� as an approach for Black/African peoples鈥� advancement. In my address this twinning of 鈥楤lack鈥� and 鈥楢frican鈥� in 鈥淏lackcentricity鈥� is deliberate - to register the confluence of race, colour, culture, spirituality and history to implicate, invoke and further advocate for a global Black African radical politics.
