In this seminar, Carolyn King, former elected Chief of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation will discuss the context, aim, and activities of the 鈥淢ocassin Identifier Project鈥 a significant educational project and public intervention to promote education of the ongoing presence of First Nations in cities throughout Ontario. The Mocassin Identifier Project stencils images of First Nations footwear to remind us that we are on the traditional territory of Indigenous Peoples.
