Mara Shaw - Executive Director, Loving Spoonful

Mara Shaw has been Executive Director at Loving Spoonful since 2012. She is a cellist, parent council member, and community activist.

Mara Shaw studied Chemistry at the University of Illinois & Environmental Engineering Science at the California Institute of Technology.  Mara worked in environmental science across the US for 15 years.  She then saw first hand the impact that working with good food had on people coping with mental illness.  She changed career tracks and has been the Executive Director of Loving Spoonful since 2012.  She is pleased to see the Kingston community also recognize the power of good food to connect people.
