2022 Kingston Climate Change Symposium

Working with Sustainable Kingston to promote local environmental awareness, Queen鈥檚 University is an event partner for the 2022 Kingston Climate Change Symposium. Sustainable Kingston hosts the symposium annually in partnership with the City of Kingston, and the event brings together local and national leaders on climate change for a series of talks and conversations.
Featuring Nobel Peace Prize nominee and best-selling author Sheila Watt-Cloutier, CBC meteorologist and science reporter Johanna Wagstaffe, and other notable speakers, the Symposium will take place online Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The theme of this year鈥檚 event, hosted by broadcaster and Queen鈥檚 Adjunct Lecturer Ali Hassan, is 鈥淐ollective Climate Action: Local, National and Diverse Perspectives.鈥
