Claire Parsons is a Researcher with the Centre for International and Defence Policy where she works on quantum technology鈥檚 effects on the defence strategies of the Five Eyes alliance, the relationship between cybersecurity and climate change, and Women, Peace, and Security. Her research interests pertain to military affairs, radicalization, and counterterror with her Master鈥檚 Major Research Project focusing on reducing the recruitment and retention of far-right radicals, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis into the Canadian Armed Forces. Claire holds a Master鈥檚 of Arts in Political Studies with a concentration in Nationalism, Ethnicity, Peace, and Conflict from Queen鈥檚 University. She was appointed a 2024 Capstone Laureate of the Canadian Defence and Security Network and is a Junior Fellow at the Conference of Defence Associations Institute. She holds a Bachelor's (Honours) Undergraduate degree in Political Studies and a Certificate in Law from 成人大片.
