What to Expect: Dr. Philip Jessop is the Head of the Chemistry Department at Queen鈥檚 University in Canada, an honorary professor at the University of Jordan, and an adjunct professor at the Hashemite University in Jordan. He studies green solvents, biomass conversion and carbon dioxide chemistry. He served as the Chair of the Editorial Board for the journal Green Chemistry (2017-2022). He helped create two spin-off companies and GreenCentre Canada, a centre for the commercialization of green chemistry technologies. His Tiktok video series 鈥淛essop鈥檚 Which Is Greener?鈥 has reached tens of thousands of viewers.
